Here we go, the Undercover sessions have begun! “D” has asked that I only show images that you can’t recognize her in, so just a few pictures today to show you the tone of the session!
“D” wanted this session to get some special pictures for her soon-to-be husband. What a great gift for the groom, huh??
I also have 2 more Undercover session next month, and am always happy to take bookings for more!
Join me in saying congratulations to John and Dawn on their engagement! Both are tennis enthusiasts, and that’s the key to the “how they got engaged” story: They went to play tennis, and instead of the top ball in the can of tennis balls, John had swapped it out for the ring box, surprising Dawn upon opening! She, of course, said yes!
That’s good news for me, because if she’d said no, I’d not have had this great couple for an engagement session! We had a great few hours out in the (hot) sun one evening, filled with hugs and kisses (them), and sweat and extra memory cards (me)! ;-)
I’m far from having all of the pictures processed, but I couldn’t resist posting a few for everyone to see!
Have you ever noticed that after you go on vacation, things seem to snowball and you need a vacation to recover from THAT vacation?
My family and I went to Mebane, North Carolina to visit family….and we went by minivan! Have you ever driven 7.5 hours in a minivan with a 4 year old and a 2 year old? No? Good. I won’t tell you how it went, because if I did you’d never get in a minivan again! ;-) Ok, it wasn’t really THAT bad. I will say, though, that if you attempt the trip without a DVD player, you will quickly learn your mistake. I’m soooo glad we have one!
We were on vacation for one week, and we’ve been home for over a week and I think I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The unpacking was easy - the hard part was getting the kids back on a sleep schedule that puts them in bed before midnight! But, we’re getting there. It doesn’t help that the sun doesn’t set before 8pm, so neither do my girls.
I have lots to post on the blog, but it is nearly 1am here so you’ll have to wait for another day!
Boudoir photography is all about attitude and little to do with your age, figure or clothing. It is all about you, feeling your best, knowing that you are gorgeous no matter what. Boudoir means different things to different people and can range from being fully clothed to semi-nude to nudes. My goal is to create a comfortable environment for you to express yourself the way you want.
Your session can be in studio, in your home, or a private location of your choice. Sessions last between 1.5 and 3 hours and are customized to meet your wishes–it’s your time to let loose and have fun.
If you’re looking for intimate and tasteful photographs that capture your true beauty, call C. Raysor Photography to book your session now!

A couple of months back I posted my best friend’s maternity pictures. Baby “E” was born in early May, and I finally got to meet him when he was nearly 3 weeks old! I was trying to be the understanding friend and sit patiently in the background waiting for the new family to settle in, the other relatives to back off, and let the craziness calm down a bit. Aren’t I nice? Actually, I was antsy for almost 3 weeks, waiting to see them - just ask my husband!
I finally got to meet Mr. E last week, and attempted some pictures with him. One problem: Mr. E is against being without clothing, or without someone holding him. I had visions of gorgeous pictures of him in baskets, him on this blanket or with this stuffed animal…. Not to much! BUT, I did get some shots that I love, and will always mean the world to me!
Look closely at this face - this is the face of someone you will see on TV and in movies someday! What a light she has, and she is simply amazing! I had a great session with Alexa D. in last weekend, and here is some of our collaborative work!
This last one is a littl play I had some fun with - I LOVE how it turned out!
This project video just made my week - I’m going to pull it out every so often when I’m feeling down, because the whole thing makes me feel like I’ve been hugged too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I have more to show from my day with Lucky J :-) These were different for me, to get outside and do whatever I wanted to do. Well, until J was done, but like I said before, thank goodness he decided we were done or we’d have been under a felled tree!
Meet my new hero, Mr. J! When our session came to an end (he decided he was DONE with me! LOL), we all went to play at the little playground section of where we were. Not long after we started playing, we heard a tree come crashing down not far away. After I left, he and his Mom walked back to where we’d been taking pictures, and right where I had my trusty bubble machine set up, right where we’d been standing….THAT is where the tree fell down!
So a GIANT tree-sized thank you to Mr. J, my new hero! :-)
